Our boss took pity on us doing the material and furniture catalog that he decided we should start on the real work. So, since this week have been posted to small project groups to do some of their CAD-ing work. Most of the jobs assigned is to just do space planning (like arrangement of different layouts and to maximise the use of the space, etc). So have been sleeping later than usual to finish up the cadding.
What I enjoy right now is the site visits. Just this week, I went to Jin Mao Tower to meet with the client to do some photo taking. It's one of the tallest building in Shanghai with a unique architecture that looks like a pagoda. Though the company was around the middle levels of the building, the view on the outside is priceless.
I get to see the aerial view of the bund, pearl tower and all the other skyscrapers. Just found out that if I wanted to go up the Jin Mao Observation Deck, it would cost around 80 RMB.
And thank God that the weather wasn't cold on Thursday. It wasn't hazy on Friday too, which meant that we could take nice photos of the pearl tower! But Friday was qing min jie, so there was zillions of people jamming up the bund area to take pictures with the famous icon. Especially when it is viewed at night, it's beautiful. Most probably, I will return there with my friends to take more pictures and cam whore! Will post up the photos if I have the time to.
I checked that next week would be rainy days... Hopefully, the weather forecast is wrong and there will be more sunny weather.
Weekends are now the most treasured times in the week. But instead, it was used to do my work today. Sob.
16 weekends.
1 day for qing min.
2 days for labour day.
Total of 19 rest days.
And I'm only left with 14 rest days. Whee.
