I guess this year is really a year where everyone is getting married. And yesterday was no exception.
Had a very different experience of a wedding yesterday. It was my dad's cousin who was getting married. A simple ceremony where they exchanged their vows and signed the form to be legally married and next came the grand dinner at InterContinental Hotel. Her husband is a lawyer, so you can expect all his lawyer friends coming down to be his best men wearing black trench coats.
Got surprising facts about what happened in the morning's tradition of coming-for-the-bride (not sure what you call it). They made the guys sing while holding brooms as mock guitars, eating bitter gourd and drinking down curry powder mixed with lots of other ingredients!
Turns out that two of the groom's best man happen to stay in the same flat, but different storey and all three of them works in the same firm. Such coincidence!
Had a great dinner, and had a try of red wine and champagne. Didn't really like as it left a dry throat, in the end was dosing myself with tea and sprite.
And...I feeling a bit jittery and more so excited. I think words can't explain my excitement! That's because my China trip is coming in about 31 hours or so. Gosh... I have only started like about 40% of my packing.
Will be going to Jilin College of the Arts for 3 weeks of classes with the undergrads there. We are given some choices in which class we want to take. And I do hope that if they have fashion design or photography classes I do not mind taking!
Yup... really looking forward to it. Right now its like freezing there way below a fridge temperature. (the lowest is like -18) And I hope its snowing! Ice skating and skiing here I come! :P
And if you guys want to know more about the trip and follow up with us when we there, do follow this blog.

Goodness, I was surprised that the post seemed mature. Guess there's a minister-in-the-making in our team! Hahahah...I shouldn't be talking much, I have a group submission to be done by Wednesday but tomorrow's the flight. So pray that I can complete it in time and also to adapt to the environment there, especially speaking mandarin!
Time to pack my bag!
See ya in 3 weeks time! (:
