The start of the sem... And I can say that it was one crazy week!
Coughing since Sat. And its getting better. And yes Deb, you won't smell anymore chinese medicine. I'm going to finish the last drop of powder! (:Originally on Mon, i was suppose to be doing P2. But to my surprise, I was selected to do CDI. (To those who don't know, its a live project)
The project was to design a cafe/baking sch (at the former Norgan Vas) for the AS (Applied Sci Sch) to promote healthy eating. The AS students will make their own food there and sell it. So basically, its designing the interior space for Tp students to hang out and dine.
Being selected to this, I was having a lot of mixed reactions.-
Pleased, Happy: This project would help me have a stronger portfolio.

Relieved: To be honest, I didn't understood P2. So now I don't need to do that.

Sad: So sorry to deb, mat, jo and nas who wanted to be in it too.

Not satisfied: I felt it was better to get people who each have a forte in something then to just chose the smart alecs to do the job. Or to have friends whom your able to work well together.

Pressured: A group of smart alecs. So lecturers see you as able to perform.
- It feels like we are secluded from the rest who are doing P2.
So in the CDI proj was Jia Qi, Izzati and Phyllis. And all from the director's list. I'm not trying to boast that we are some smarty pants. But, after much thought, I really thank God for these girls. Each have their own personalities, talents, strengths and weaknesses.
AND I really really want to thank God for Phyllis. It was around last sem when I realised that she was from COOs (chinese youth srv)! She has been supportive and we try to keep each other in prayer.
So in this CDI I'm trying to take it one step at a time.
DSC Elections. Signed up with a few of the main comm peeps and I must say it going to be interesting and fun! (:
