Open Hse... zipping to the weekends!

TP Open House: 18-20th Jan 07These last three days were crazy! The open hse was SUPER packed! Especially during the fashion show... many were cramping to see in that small space. This is the first time i managed to watch the fashion show. On other occasions in 05 and 06 open hse, i missed watching it. And now I'm like watching the
sea of fabric and colours for about 6 times!
And i think just being at the open house is really a great time to catch up with friends. Meeting up with juniors, classmates and friends. Yah... and i enjoyed playing the games while waiting! GO, BACK, JUMP!
The Sent- Off:
On Friday, we sent of Pastor Edson and Rosa at Changi. Too bad I didn't get to follow them to Mustafa, had the open hse. Well, Peter and Jac went along. In a way you can say its a "double date"! Hahha.. Kidding lah... Esther came to tp with her friend. And from what i see, she likes the milo truck! hahah... Enjoyed drinking up cups of it too! And yj was suppose to meet us at tp, but he overslept.
So we managed to meet up with the rest and had some time to talk to the rest at Changi. Though we got kind of carried away in playing the boomerang! From what i see, Pastor Edson likes to cam whord! Since he had his new toy, he has been snapping away random pics of us.
And yj was wearing fully black! Ok... maybe its my first time seeing him like that. He looked like an emo-rocker kind of person. hahah... hope no offence taken!
*PLEASE also pray for Pastor Edson and Rosa. They are planning to come back in June for a holiday. But for now nothing is concrete. So keep them in your prayers!
Saturday's testimony:Baptism. Our first ever youth baptism. Amanda, Sherry, Evan, Sam, Josh, Nic, Justin took their first step! Pray that they will grow stronger in the Lord!
Was really thankful that God answered my prayer for a cab. And what more a Christian driver! It was like 5.35pm and i was still at Tp. And baptism is starting at 6! So in the rain, I prayed.
At that point of time, there was not a single vehicle on the road! It was just deserted. That made me pray even harder. But at the back of my mind, i wanted to call for a taxi. Just as i was about to call for a cab, a taxi came. (but it was headed to Hougang) Just as i was about to call again, a second one came. (but someone called for it) Just when i tried to call again, a cab came at 5.50pm. It was as though God just wanted me to depend on Him and not rely on other things.
I noticed the driver had a cross at his speed-o-meter and it was only after i paid attention to the music and hear a pastor praying in Chinese, did i realise that he was listening to Chinese and Cantonese christian songs! So in the rain, listening to the music, it reminds me of God's goodness. (even though there was a slight jam at PL!)
Thank God that i just had the right sum of money to pay for the fare! It was the amount my parents had given me to take the cab. Was about 5-10mins late so rushed to change and boy, was service packed!
And was feeling very tired during service. It has been a long day in school and so needed toothpicks to hold up my eyes! And thanks to Esther for scaring me during dinner! Got shocked but it kind of woke me up for a while! Hahah...
But overall, I'm still quite tired after helping out in open hse. I need energy to carry on till my next submission on Fri!
