first wk of 2007

The first week of 2007 has been a
rollercoaster! Quite a lot of stuff happened that made it a week filled with ups and downs.
What better way to start of the New Year with a wedding! Went for Kah Woon’s and Pauline’s wedding. And it was a
beautiful! There were some cute and funny moments. And when the choir came out, I think I was too excited for Esther that she heard me calling her name! Pastor Derek’s preaching was quite meaningful.
Though, I confess that it was getting a bit daggy and I was trying not to fall alseep! So after that, a gp of us headed to TCC @ HollandV to just chill and
cam whored!
It was also the start of the school term and boy was it
hectic! We were introduced to the major project though many of us were still clueless on what to do even till now!
So far I know that we’re to use an object, get inspiration from it, and then build a 3D model including designing the interior. So the exhibition hall had to be an inspiration from the object we used.
We were told that we had
new lecturers for our class. His name was Mr. Ang. He was an architect/interior designer/product designer. He was a nice guy though he didn’t know how to instruct us on the work. Sad that we didn’t get our senior lecturer, turns out they had to set new lessons for the two new DES dips.
And queuing for 3hrs just to see the doc was just a
test of patience. Well, at least I had some time to just sit and sketch out my ideas. Many queued to see for skin conditions, so I think I was the only acception with the cough. Doc said my cough was bad and it was
close to being bronchitis. Had me on antibiotics and really really
drowsy cough syrup!
Ah… Friday, a day before the weekends. I think I was at my lowest point. I had chosen the camera as my inspiration and exploration. But at the back of my mind, I kept on thinking of doing something else like bridal gowns. Mind was just in a daze, plus the fact that without taking the cough syrup, the med made me drowsy. Consultation by Mr. Ang gave me some new insights on the camera. But everything was still blurry…
I think Saturday was a
breath of fresh air, from all the stress and craziness of the weekdays. And church was a place that I was able to let my hair down. Funny, it was as though all my stress from the work just
disappeared! So now you know why there were lots of
unglam-ness and laughing about everything!
Cell was fun, had lots of colouring to do plus reflections. And I think Sam Lo is going to be our new cell leader. Well, from what some of us might think it is. YP has been busy with work but she has not told us if this is really happening.
And Jen, if you see this, "Whatever Loh!" Hahah... The tables are turned! As I sat in the train after dinner, I was having a heavy heart just thinking about my proj. I didn’t know if I should change my concept to bridal gowns. And after talking to pris, she encourage me and gave me
renewed spirit that I can do this camera idea with God’s help! Yeah… so thanks for that pris!
Must bear in mind Phils 4:6 too!So it will be another week of consultation and off to do my inspiration collage!
