EAST TIMOR MISSION TRIPDiak ka lai? It means, "How are you?" in Tetum. Going for this mission trip has brought me many wonderful experiences and enjoyable memories. To name some,
Jasmine tea + Salt + Mineral Water + Frogs + Earworm + Sun
I won't say much about the trip as you can refer to GraceO's or Esther's blog for more info. I will be flooding the whole blog by then if I tried writing everything! So if your want to know more then ask me! So here are some snippets that I'll try to post on each day.
DAY 1 (4th Dec)Row Row Row Your BoatToday, we started off bright and early at HarbourFront Jetty. Was so blessed to have so many who came to send us off with their prayers! We boarded Penguin and headed to Batam. To bad that we had seperate seatings!
The LuncheonI think touting is common in Batam as the people will just swamp you and place menus right in front of your face. It's CRAZY LAH! So we had rice and dishes. And their chicken was SO fried till the skin was SO dried! (Hey, I just realised it rhymes!) Hahah... But their blachan is the BEST! Hot but SHIOK!
And we went back to wait for a long time at the jetty centre. We tried our hands at origami just to kill time. My GOODNESS. The crane's wings is SUPPOSE to flap! Bah... It came out weird man. Played board games... It was so cute and tiny lah! Then some things happened, which is not worth sharing here for the privacy of our team members. CY brought crocs. She liked the smell and kept on smelling them. EEeee... Can you imagine liking the smell of rubber?!?
Okee... I shall stop writing any longer as I'm dozing off already. The words I type are going to dance around sooner or later!
