2006 is drawing to a close and again many will say that,
"This year has pass so fast!" It has been a year filled with many memories, the happy, sad, the crazy and even the emo times. And before the year passes by, its time to reflect.
Here’s just a little appreciation to the people who made a difference in my life. I have lots to say but these are some little encouragement and thoughts I have. No hard feelings if I did not include you it does not mean that I forgot you!
Froggies CellFroggies. I remember how as a cell we’ll
run away from the pastor before the cell meeting! So that we’ll have no cell! Hahah… Boy were we naughty! But we have matured and now with our own cells to handle. So here’s to you!
Eileen. The froggie mummy of our cell. You have been the pillar of support of our cell and the person who cares and lend a shoulder to us when we have problems. Thank the Lord for your patience with our cell even when we ran away during the first few meetings! You have watched us from being the little “tadpoles” to becoming “frogs” that Fully Rely On God! Though our cell has diverse to taking on different cells, I never forget the wonderful times and how you even lecture me about lateness! But it made me work harder even more! Thanks for your encouragement to me to! So may the Lord bless you and I hope your doing well with your studies in Down Under!
Grace O. Known you since primary school. Though sometimes you have your
emo days, and the “scandals” we love to tease, you have been there for me when I confine with you my secrets. Remember how we would write notes when we’re in service! But now we sit with our cell and its so far away! Thanks for the encouragement you gave me in your Christmas card too! Really spoke to me about some things that I was thinking about. My goodness… I feel like I’m getting emo again! Hahha…
Prisca. I remember nicknaming you
frisky! It’s been ages… And now we are leading a cell with YP! Though the kids are tough to handle at times and need a lot of patience, you still manage that extra oomph, to bring a smile to the kids’ faces! Thank you for all the cards you give me as encouragement! I hope that you will get very good results in your biggie O’s! And that God will give you the wisdom in deciding the right school! Nothing is too impossible for God to handle!
Grace G. You can remember me with the
yellow dress! And I remember you with the purple shirt! Hahah… It’s been great knowing you and I remember the times we would always tell each other how we want to be a NCO or just talking about Gb stuff. And God put you in Innova for a reason! Don’t doubt why you are there or whether it’s better being in poly. I was the opposite of you! I felt that I should be in jc than poly. Boy… did we think differently at that time! Hahah…
Michelle. RJC. That’s a great achievement, to be in that school and you made it! You have very interesting stories to tell us like your work attachment or your wisdom tooth extract! And sometimes you had your moments of
unglam-ness! But that’s ok! You have opened up more and got to know you better. Next time stay after church for dinner more often!
Jennifer. I remember how you would ask a lot of questions during the Philippines trip. But at that time we were naive. And even though you maybe facing problems in your life, be sure that God is there for you! Thanks for all the small cards you give to me like the one before the Timor trip. That was sweet of you! Reminded for your randomness too when you tried to distract me on my b.day while the rest were preparing the surprise!
Paul. The rose among the thorn. Or is it the other way round? You have to “
tahan” with us girls as the only guy in the froggies cell. Now that you are helping YP’s cell, you have more guy manpower! But please lah, must be fiercer with the boys! They are so noisy everytime! So enjoy your poly life doing the chemical mixing and all!
Ana. I hardly see you around now. In froggies, you made people laugh and you have a cool attitude that chills. Glad to know that you’re in a new youth cell. Was great to work along side with you in the YES2 ushering. May the Lord bless you in everything you do!
Angelina. You were a nice person to talk to during cell. Heard that you’re in mass com. It must be interesting to study on that! Yeah... but I rarely see you now. Hope that you are doing fine. God bless ya!
East Timor TeamTEAM. Together Everyone Achieves More. It was great knowing you! I hope that God impress upon your heart the burden to help East Timor! I enjoy the time of randomness, fun and laughter! Well, I won’t say much here as I kind of said what I wanted to say on the card I gave ya!

Timorese! And the frog chaser in the middle of the night! Thanks for the wonderful card you made! Was funny!
Moses. Funny poses! And lots of interesting stories to tell! And the wacky things and jokes he can do!

teddy bear mascot! The Sunday sch kids you taught are so cute!
Lewis. Reads lots and can dance! Hahah…

34th GbIt great to see how the girls grow into mature women for God! We gone through a lot. The drills, the hot sun, ndp, the scoldings, the time we just sat and talked.
Audrey. Loisa. Juliana. You three really rock! You have been supportive and being encouraging me when I feel really down. Thanks for all the cards that you gave me though I didn’t have the time to reply! And remember how you three like to tease me about… Hahha… oh wells, those were the days. And to the rest of the juniors, seniors and everybody in gb, hope you are doing well! God bless!
4BAh… the hildans. I won’t quote names here as there are too many of you! But I have lots of wonderful memories and enjoyed the times our class had funny moments. One particular moment was the
school’s phototaking. Someone took out a
BARBIE doll and it got captured in the photo! Hahha… When I look at that photo, I always laugh at it and remember the stun faces of everyone including Mr. Wee!
So to all 4B students, I wish you all the best in your jc or poly life!
