Weekend Frenzy
I'm going to tell you everything that had happened over these few days in one post.
FRIDAY:Finally! A cheesecake outing! A small group of us went to roam the city. Namely (In order of where we went first), Marina Square, Millenia Walk, Suntec City and Esplanade.
On the way to Marina Square, I chance upon Jessica and later Audrey in citylink mall. Was i surprised to see them there... And my goodness, marina sq changed a lot. Well, the last time i went was when they were doing renovations. (Which was pretty a long time ago) Now its so clean, neat and lots of high class boutiques.
And the one thing that made us head to Millenia Walk was CANDY EMPIRE! That was the nicest place ever! And the "coveted" jelly beans! Some of us (not to mention who), would find something delightful everytime they turn around the corner.
One of them who had done buying said that, "If this was a holiday trip, the tour bus would not wait for them!"
And for some who had "deprived childhood", took a ride on a merry go round. And one by one, everyone can't stand the spinning. (Mat got you guys on camera!) I guess the chocs had an effect on them... Haha...
Suntec City... Though we spotted a Ben and Jerry's outlet but not many wanted to try it so... we had to resist the temptation. We sat at the fountain of wealth for a wonderful and WET water and lighting performance. And THANK YOU to Azli for making that wonderful Cheesecake dedication at the fountain of wealth! Was really sweet and thoughtful of you to send those wishes on the screen!
And lastly, the Esplanade. We played murderer & detective (Storytelling way). It was super fun! Just trying to defend yourself and knowing who is the murderer.... wow. And so sorry... if i offended anyone with the storyline. I'm bad at making it up... It sounds so lame... Toilet bowl, poison soup and sniper!?! What was i thinking!? Hahah...
SAT:Thanks to Grace O for being at the library cafe. There were no more seats upstairs, but you were willing to give up yours at the cafe! Was kind of like "chopping"... hahah... And there were many church people doing their work at the cafe too!
Had cell tuition with the pri6 kids. But only four came... which was something. And "thank you" to Paul for reading the Journey to the West book while teaching! Monkey see monkey do... the kid even read and did only one sum!
And Paradise Church was cool! The singing and everything... And my bro went to get the CDs and got them autographed too!
Grace O too had a surprise (but she found out) birthday cake from us! Though we had to drag her out of the church! And the choc cake so big!
SUN:Was my grandma's baptism was at hotel near RGS. Was a small pool and everyone was blocking the area by carrying umbrellas.
Then we headed for a drink at Shangri-La Hotel. The restaurant was so cool... with its orange lightings and furnishing... And their fundo fountain! Too bad... we got shifted to a smaller cafe where desserts and drinks were given. But their choc cake and cocca ice cream coffee was nice!
And I like their toilet! hahha... so classy with its marble top...
MON:Had my hair done. But not the way I wanted. And I got my eyebrows done... which looks weird now... Haha... so thin now....
okee... enough of me writing already!
