*To YongJin and Michelle: Sorry that I deleted your post... there was some spam in the Cbox before that. Sorry!
Lesson 101:Today, some of us decided to have a refreshing cold drink at a bubble tea stall. Little did we know that we had
TWO prep talk on:
"Normal Or Special? The Quality Of A Good Bubble Tea"
"The Social Etiquette Of How To Poke A Straw Into The Cup" So instead of just ordering and getting a drink, we got a talk on the difference of getting a special bubble tea that is cheaper than in Starbucks and how to properly poke the straw into the drink. It came to the point that the lady boss took my cup and helped me poke it in to illustrate her point.
(As she said, previously a woman rejected the lady boss offer to help her. And she got her hair in a mess when she poked wrongly and was a laughing stock there.)
So Lesson 101:
1. Don't buy bubble tea.
2. If you are desperate to drink, be warned of the straw.
3. Poke the straw in the manner of placing your hand in the shape of a good sign. With the thumb on the hole of the straw.
4. Pray that the boss of the stall will not be a mosquito at your ear.
5. You are getting a bubble tea
NOT an Etiquette Class!
Hahahah... Ok, whatever I wrote on the "Lesson 101" is just for fun. Don't take it so seriously. But the incident was real so still, BE WARNED! Hahha...
Now that my parents are in Changsha, China for mission trip, it feels weird that the house now seems empty and quiet. There was mixed emotions in me on the day they left... But must be strong as Frogma says! BUT one MAJOR problem between me and my grandma who is taking care of us is the language barrier! My chinese is bad. So simplified chinese for me! Must brush up on my "china". Hahha...
And listening to Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars gives me the goosebums. It's a nice song!
Can't wait for urshering tommorrow!
