In memory of Samuel TanA brother, a friend, a leaderAfter my brother told me about it, i was stunned, shocked at how he could leave the world at such a young age. But there is this comfort that he is with the Lord.
It suddenly dawn on me that our lives are very important and precious. We should not take it for granted. Just recently on the newspaper, a man tried to commit suicide. But he survived the fall. But for this sixteen year old, it was different.
There is this sadness in me even though i don't know him well. I know that he was a good leader as a chairman in BB and was friendly towards many. He was also caring, and even wrote a letter to my brother to encourage him when he became the new chairman. I do hope my brother will cherish his letter dearly...
So it made me think about the life i am living right now. When death comes knocking at your door, its too late to turn back and realise it. Wake up people...
The thought of writing more just makes me want to cry...
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And you've told me who I am
I am Yours
Chorus of Who Am I by Casting Crowns
