WoW... Games Day was fun! But i got into a very heavy thunderstorm on the way to church... Thank God that the rain stopped after we prayed! :) It was really fun how all the kids have so much fun at the games. It reminded me of the times we had it too in pri 6. It feel so good to be a kid again! Hahaha...
I think the water game that I plan was kind of difficult for some. I even got confused when instructing them, on which hand should be tied to which hand! And to make it worse, Ernie confused me even more about the hand thing till i don't even remember how to continue tying! But we manage to tie... randomly...
When one team started asking about who made this game... That was ok... But when another team asked the same question, BOY... I didn't there answer that question. I guess they were a boys group and after all, they are all restless when doing the tying.
Then came the final game... and water bombings soon started. I didn't feel the need to play bombing... So i just packed up the games area. And trying to be a kind soul, i took over Grace G's seat(like a hen) on the pail full of water bombs meant for the game masters to use.
But one of them dissapointed me. This pri 6 tried to coax us into getting a bomb but we didn't give. And while i was not "guarding" it properly, his hand shot through and took a bomb out! You know, he could have been "arrested" if i had shouted molest. But a kid is a kid.
After all the prizes were given out, some boys lingered to try and get a water bomb from the pail. They were still persistent in getting a bomb. However, the same boy came from behind and secretly squeezed the strawberry jelly (from the mashmellow) onto my shirt! I just couldn't take it. He already had his share of the bomb which he was not suppose to take from and then he did this! What I didn't like was that, he denied ever squeezing the jelly on my shirt.
BUT I must be willing to forgive this naughty boy... Which i'm still trying to... A kid is STILL a kid!
Today in school (Wed), our classmates were talking about religon. And when it came onto the topic of Christianity, I was kind of dishearted when many free thinkers said that their christian friends would tell them that (quoted): "When judgement day come, we will go to heaven and you will go to hell... Don't blame us if you had heard it and didn't believe!" They said that whether people would say it in a polite way or not, they still feel it being forced.
I really didn't know what to say at that time. They feel that these type of christians tanish the reputation of the rest. I guess its the way they phrase the sentence which made them tick. So i do not know how to talk to them about that... I just pray that somehow they will be receptive about the gospel. So i'll have to P.U.S.H!
