Whee!!! I am so happy that Italy WON! (Well I wanted either Brazil and Germany to win but since they were out... my third choice was Italy)
(Just to WARN those who are not interested in football... ONLY The next 3 paragraphs are going to be on the match so be warned!) I know for those out there who is not an avid football person like me, you would think I didn't have enough sleep or was crazy to write such a post about it... After all I got hook onto the beautiful game by my bro...
This has been a second time in World Cup history where the game ends in a penalty. It was so nice watching because (to all those who watched and understand what Im talking):
1. Was so scary when each side scored till "French Fries" made the mistake of hitting the ball so hard it flew and hit the pole!
2. Stupid Ziou punch his own head into one "Lasagna's" stomach! And got sent off for his action.
3. The celebration when Italy took the (Real Gold!) cup.
4. The way they played (its like deh...)
You can JUST IMAGINE what happen to the
WHOLE NEIGHBOURHOOD when the first goals by each teams scored! You can hear people shouting
GOAL!!! in the wee morning! ("the shouting" happened for the Germany vs Portugal match too!)
A "COMPULSORY" TALK on Speaking Well...Wow... dragged myself to go for it... felt cheated that they didn't take attendance for it. But it kind of gave us some guidelines on talking and presenting your ideas as a design student. So there were pro and cons to going for it...
I also met many of my friends back from CampIgnite... Really missed those times... Especially one of them whom I didn't expect seeing today. Was really shocked when I turned and I noticed the few of them. I guess they kind of knew i was sitting in front and saw me... (What more my friends who sat behind me in the convention hall kept on mentioning my name many times in a bid for me to turn and look at them...)
So here I am back to reality of trying to finish my work (again!). So im off to do it!
