It's been the fourth day of school. Since the first day of school, we were given so many assignments to do! So for the next three years, I may not have the time to post... I have to do sketching, construct models, buying lots of materials!
(one modular scale cost a bomb! $11.40!)
My class has been quite ok and we are a noisy bunch of people. The other classes were just doing their assignments (project) quietly while we just yakadiyak while doing.
(multi tasking! Hahah...)Joke of the day (for 4th May):As many people in my class come from the west and north, they would usually arrive late. (9 to 9.15 attendance taken as late; 9.15 onwards taken as abstent) So when one of them arrived at 9.15, the lecturer was not really happy. She asked him what were his name. And in his responce was he said his name was James. Then, the whole class bursted into laughter!
Why? His name wasn't James! The lecturer in her Indian slang asked if that was really his name and said she would checked his photo against the name list. That's when he freaked out and immediately said his real name. She said that he should not bluff her even if she can't remember his name. So for now , the class has been using that as a nickname for him.
Comments!During our assignment where we had to built a structure, one of the guys commented that our model was like a cheesecake! Wah... As it had an octagon with some "icing" on it. He also commented on another group and said that theirs was like a kampong! As theirs had many huts with a big "campfire" in the middle.
So now, I got to get back to do my assignment! Sigh...long nights!
