Wow!
At long last! School is finally over! But for this first block only... Sigh... But at least we will get a well deserved break for the whole month of June!
Yay! Can't wait to go for church camp!Yesterday was CCN day. It was a day where all poly students raise funds for needy students who are in the school. And for my care group, we sold Canadian Pizza & hotdogs and candy floss. So it was quite obivious which one sold out the fastest! People bought by the boxes! So we were left to sell the hotdogs and floss. There was the frank, brat (if its spelt this way) and cheese hotdog.
It was quite tiring after doing for quite a long time and screaming, "Hotdogs and candy floss!!!!" But it was rewarding when the day was finally over and we made quite a profit. (Although the candy floss coould have done better)
But it was also the day when
I saw many ex SHPS, SHSS and Gb friends from Nat camp/other events! It really bring back so much good memories! It was as though you just found your long lost friend that you have not seen for so many years!
At the end of the CCN, deborah and I went to see the stall which sold hamsters to people. We found one which was so cute and tiny that we decided to get it. Though we didn't know its sex. The owner did not want to under sell it and told us that we either pay $10 or get it for free. The answer was obivious!
So we decided to name it
Cheesecake. Why that? It happened during our Space and form class where one of our model we made was just like a big piece of block like a cheesecake. So from then on, we have nicknamed the whole class as cheesecake gang! Hahaha... funny right? So this furry creature has become our
class mascot!
We played with it and carried it. But boy did it run very fast! Mel even used the hamster to scare someone but in the end jumped out of her hands. And cringed onto the person she tried to scare! We got a shock but we just laugh of the incident. You should have seen the look on their faces before and after the hamster did a superman stunt!
As we were leaving, the director warned us about the possibilty of it crawlling into computer CD openings and wires and chewing up cables. He was afraid it may run into the aircon vent and we will all be smelling dead hamster smell when we on the aircon... But I shall not go into those gross details about it...
So this was what happened during the last day of the first block system... So now I can relax for this while...
