Camp Ignite DAY 2

DAY 2:
(Pls. be mindful that this is only a summary of the camp. Not all details are added in.) (Why did I not blog about it earlier? I had to compile my thoughts about the three days!)
I woke up at 0730 as we had to have briefing at 0830. Strangely, I didn’t have that kind of sluggish; lazy feeling when I woke up. Then we had breakfast in the canteen. I ate my ham sandwich sluggishly. (Funny that it happened later!) Then we had course briefings and other activities in the Audi.
Originally, we were told that we would be going to Pasir Ris Park in the afternoon for games. Bad news, it was cancelled as it was going to rain. Good news was that we were given time to create a cheer and the T-shirt design. So we took time at the studios to do that. Then we had dinner and left for the Audi for the special night.
At the special night, the emcees were dressed smartly. They started by introducing the judges
(2 from sponsors 4Skins, the director and the deputy director) for the fashion show. Then the fashion parade started.
My goodness! The first model was the
gay guy from ADM! He really walked like a female model! (Wah…can compete in ANTM!) Everyone was laughing so hard! Some of the models had a funny way of walking too.
One walked like a robot!
After the fashion show, each sub-empire had to prepare to go on stage for the cheer. Soon it was our turn. We were nervous but decided to make a fool of ourselves on stage and enjoy it! So we ran up and cheered to our version of Hollaback girl while some of us did dance moves. After it ended, Josh did the funny action of "Can’t touch this!" at his chest. Then we did a cheesy cheer. (For you to find out what cheer it was! Or you can ask me!) We then left the stage by doing an Egyptian walk out. We heaved a sigh of relief and laughed off the whole thing.
Though we didn’t win any of the fashion awards, we enjoyed ourselves. And it certainly brought memories of hard effort and work put into it!
Next, we were brought to an area where they decorated it into a
pub! We had our own DJ, light effects and smoke to create the feel of being in one! Then all of us dance the night away! Though I wanted to dance, it was too crowd and decided to accompany Emily to level 2 to see the rest dance.
After it ended, we manage to get a deserving hot bath at the stadium toilet! (At last!) After bath time (0110), many of us wanted to go out with our GLs to eat supper. But it was too rush as lights out was at 0200. So we ordered
McDonalds. So we just stoned till our food came.
(To be exact, fast food isn’t fast! We waited for 45mins!) I think McDonalds is crazy in giving us a big packet of the packet sauces! (Note: size of football) Good thing they gave us free bottles of Nescafe coffee! We left to sleep and energize ourselves for the final clash!
